DAY 1
Upon arrival at the airport in Halifax, NS, you will have a coach transfer to your hotel in central Halifax.
Later in afternoon you will enjoy a guided tour of this Provincial Capital. Sites will include:

DAY 2: Tour of Nova Scotia’s South Shore
Zoom Tours will not be responsible for any admission tickets purchased in advance in the event of a canceled tour.
Today is the day to relax, breathe in the fresh sea air, listen to the waves of the North Atlantic Ocean, and discover some of Nova Scotia’s Treasures.
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will leave on a leisurely drive along the famous Lighthouse Route!
We will visit Peggy’s Cove, the location of Peggy’s Point, a famous lighthouse perched atop a massive granite rock, worn smooth by years of pounding waves. This lighthouse has been a world famous Sailors guide since 1868.
We will then continue on to Mahone Bay. This town is a scenic Nova Scotia gem with three elegant churches and steeples first greeting us as we turn the bend on the road and gaze across the bay. Your cameras will be working ‘overtime’ at this location! En route, we will have a lunch break en route perhaps enjoying some of Nova Scotia’s famous seafood.
Our final destination will be Lunenburg, A UNESCO World Heritage site established in 1753. This prime location has captivating architecture, a famous wharf where the fully restored Bluenose II can be seen when in port. We will also be able to enjoy the seafaring history of the Maritime Museum located near the Bluenose II.After the tour, you will return to the hotel in Halifax and the rest of the evening will be at your leisure.
DAY 3: Halifax » Baddeck
Following breakfast, we say farewell to Halifax and board the coach for Baddeck, NS.
Baddeck is located on the northern shore of the Bras d’Or Lakes, North America’s largest inland sea, in the county of Victoria on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. Baddeck is a bustling village that maintains its essence as a quaint community and is considered to be the beginning and end of the world famous Cabot Trail!
After check-in at your hotel, you will have the rest of the evening will be free for you to explore the city. Take the time to explore the town and visit the famous Alexander Graham Bell Museum!
DAY 4: Full Day Cabot Trail Tour
Following breakfast, we depart for a full day Cabot Trail Tour.
We will begin the tour from Baddeck and the famous Bras d’Or Lakes, where Alexander Graham Bell had his summer home. From there, we will follow Cape Breton Island’s stunningly beautiful coastline as our Tour Director will guide us through the Highland Mountains, abundant wildlife, historic villages. Throughout the tour, you will learn about the history of the Acadians and visit the local Floras Acadian Crafts shop, where you will see the famous art of cross-stitching and have the opportunity to purchase some souvenirs and local goods, such as homemade blueberry jam or jelly! After all, Nova Scotia is Canada’s blueberry capital!
Our tour will take us to the highest point at Pleasant Bay , where we will experience breathtaking views. Pleasant Bay is set between two beautiful mountains in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, and it is known for whale watching, beautiful sunsets, and ultimate tranquility! Lunch will be arranged en route.
At the end of the day, we will return to our hotel in Baddeck and prepare for our next day departure to Prince Edward Island.

DAY 5: Baddeck » Charlottetown via Ferry
Following breakfast at our hotel, we board the coach for Caribou, NS. situated near the town of Pictou, NS – the site of Nova Scotia’s first Scottish settlement.
Our destination is Wood Island in PEI, which we will reach by ferry (1 ½ hour trip). While on board the ferry, sit back and enjoy the relaxation of the cruise across the Northumberland Strait as we head for Prince Edward Island. On board, you will find a cafeteria and gift shop, where you can purchase souvenirs and have a snack.
Upon arrival in Wood Island, we will re-board our coach and be transferred to our hotel located in Charlottetown, PEI, the capital of this most tranquil and beautiful province. It is here in Founders Hall that Canada became a Confederation in 1867.
After hotel check-in, the evening will be at leisure in this charming city. If anyone wishes to attend the evening performance of ‘Anne of Green Gables’, it is held at the Confederation Centre for the Arts’, you may pre-book tickets by phone at 1-902-628-1864 or email: info@confederationcentre.com
DAY 6: Full Day in PEI
Following breakfast at the hotel, we begin with a walking tour of Charlottetown, where we will discover the charm and history of this Capital city.
Following the city tour, we depart for the Cavendish area on the north shore of the Island – the most beautiful part of Prince Edward Island. We will visit the home of L. M. Montgomery, which was the setting for the famous Canadian tale ‘Anne of Green Gables’. Then we will tour the area, which has spectacular scenic landscapes with famous red sandstone cliffs, endless sand beaches, as well as amazing acres of the most beautiful farmland in Canada, famous for potato growing. The day will include time for a casual lunch plus time to stroll on the fantastic beaches.
Later in the afternoon, we will head for New Glasgow, where the highlight of the day will be a traditional Lobster dinner at ‘Fisherman’s Wharf Loster Supper in North Rustico ’. PEI is known for having the most delicious lobster, and this restaurant is the original lobster dinner location on PEI. We will be treated to ‘All you can eat Chowder, Mussels, Salads and Desserts’ and of course, each of us will be served a delicious ‘fully cooked red lobster’ (get your cameras ready for when it arrives!) Just ask a local and they will tell you! ‘PEI Lobster is the BEST’! Note: For those who do not wish lobster, steak is also an option.
Following dinner, we return to the hotel in Charlottetown and enjoy a leisure evening before tomorrow’s departure back home.

DAY 7: JDirect flight from Charlottetown (YYG) to Toronto (YYZ)
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will check-out and have our bags stored in a safe space at the hotel.
We will then proceed to The Confederation Bridge, one of the longest bridges in the world at 12.9 km, joining Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
There, we will have free time to take photos, enjoy the views and visit the museum and shops at the Gateway Village Visitor Information Centre. Tour will also include stops along the way with visit to a lighthouse.
At 4:30PM, we will depart for the Charlottetown Airport for the flight back to your home destination.
